Using Feed Muncher

Setting up your favorite sites with Feed Muncher is easy...
 

STEP 1

When a website offers an RSS feed (sometimes called "Live Bookmarks") your web browser will notify you, often with this orange icon. If you click on the icon, you will be shown the page's RSS feed. RSS is a standard format for websites to publish updates, it stands for Really Simple Syndication.

STEP 2

Now that we're looking at the website's feed - we can see the address at the top of the window. Simply "COPY" it. (Or just remember it if you have a good memory!)

STEP 3

On your Feed Muncher page, when you click "Add Feed" you can supply the feed URL, a descriptive name, and a color to help organize your feeds. You can just "PASTE" the feed's URL in the Feed URL text box, the rest is up to you!

The possabilities with Feed Muncher as many. As you create your Feed Muncher page, you'll notice you can view an RSS feed FOR this page. Meaning, you can merge several feeds you commonly view into one feed. This allows you to use your Feed Muncher feed in any program that supports RSS. Some ideas include sending updates to your mobile device, publishing it to your blog, or website.
